Materialise World Conference 2010
On April 22-24, 2010 in Leuven, Belgium
Dear ESB Members,
Materialise, the first corporate member of the ESB, celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2010 and wants to celebrate this with a world conference. We've put together an interesting conference and we also invite you to a sensational evening event which includes a walking dinner. And it's all free.
The Materialise World Conference includes among others a new edition of the Medical Innovations Conference (April 22-23). On the first day of this 2 day event, we have a general session with presentations from experts around the globe in the field of biomedical engineering. The second day offers 2 parallel session; Finite Element Applications in Medicine and the Rapid Implant Manufacturing Forum.
Topics that will be covered during those 2 days include:
· Finite element analysis in the orthopedic and dental fields
· Computational fluid dynamics in the cardiovascular and pulmonary fields
· Virtual prototyping for custom implant design
· Computer aided tissue engineering
· Additive manufacturing in medicine
