Meeting
Biomechanics and Biology of Bone Healing
International symposium on “Biomechanics an Biology of Bone Healing” and Foundation of the Julius Wolff Institute at the Charité, Humboldt and Freie Universität The goal of the conference is to present the state of the art research in the fields of Bone Healing, covering the range from the molecular biological basis of bone formation, the mechanical influences on the biology, as well as modulating biological factors up to native and artificial biomaterials, modelling of the regeneration process and the musculoskeletal interactions and consequences on the healing process.
The following sessions are foreseen to take place during the symposium: Molecular basis of bone healing Influences on the biology of bone healing Stimulation of healing Native and artificial biomaterials Modelling musculoskeletal interactions during healing Native and artificial biomaterials Musculoskeletal interactions and clinical consequences At the beginning of the conference we would like to celebrate together with you the foundation of the Julius Wolff Institut. This institute will jointly host our research lab (the lab of the Center for Musculoskeletal Surgery) and the biomechanics lab of Prof. Georg Bergmann. |
